Application
WANNATE®HDI (Hexamethylene Diisocyanate, 1,6-diisocynatohexane）is a liquid aliphatic diisocyanate. It is a colorless or pale yellow liquid with low viscosity. WANNATE®HDI is raw material for polyurethanes. Products based on WANNATE®HDI is mainly used in PU varnish, top-grade coatings, car refinishing paint, plastic coating, top-grade wood paint, industrial coating, anti-corrosive coating, elastomers, adhesives and textile finshing agent. Polyurethane coatings based on WANNATE®HDI have a high degree of oil resistance coupled with good wear-resisting. It is also lightfast and has the property of powdering resistance，color retention and weathering resistance. In addition, WANNATE®HDI also can be used in coating curing agent, high polymer adhesive, low temperature adhesive for printing paste, collar copolymer coating, and immobilized enzyme adhesive.

Storage
WANNATE®HDI is sensitive to moisture and therefore should be stored in its sealed original containers. When stored under the proper conditions at room temperature (0 ~ 30℃), the product will remain stable for at least 9 months. Water or moisture in the air reacts with the product and generate pressure. If partially filled containers are stored, it is advisable to blanket the liquid surface with dry nitrogen before sealing.
Shelf Life
WANNATE®HDI is sensitive to moisture and must be stored in tightly sealed container. It can be stored for at least 9 months at temperatures between 0 and 30℃.
