Application Application
WANNATE ® HDI Hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) is an aliphatic diisocyanate, appearing colorless or slightly yellowish, and is a low-viscosity liquid with an irritating odor at room temperature.
WANNATE ® HDI As a raw material for the production of polyurethane, it is mainly used in the production of PU clear lacquers and high-grade coatings, automotive repair paints, plastic coatings, high-grade wood coatings, industrial coatings and anticorrosion coatings, as well as elastomers, adhesives, and textile finishing agents. The produced PU coatings are not only oil-resistant and wear-resistant, but also have the characteristics of non-yellowing, color retention, anti-powdering, and outdoor sun exposure resistance. In addition, it is also used in coating curing agents, polymer adhesives, low-temperature adhesives for printing pastes, collar copolymer coatings, and immobilized enzyme adhesives.
Packaging Specifications
200 kg Iron drum
Storage (Use) Precautions
Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. Keep the container sealed. It should be stored separately from oxidants, acids, alkalis, alcohols, and edible chemicals, and should not be mixed. WANNATE ® HDI It is a clear and transparent liquid. Due to its active chemical properties, it easily reacts with water to generate insoluble urea compounds and release carbon dioxide, causing drum bulging and increased viscosity. Therefore, during storage, it is necessary to ensure strict dryness and sealing of the container and protect it with dry nitrogen.
Shelf Life
This product is sensitive to moisture. Under 0~30℃ cool and dry conditions, the shelf life of the product stored in the original sealed container is 9 months.
