Due to 2， 4'- and 4， 4'-MDI differences in reactivity, WANNATE ^® MDI-50 the product provides better flowability for the production of cast molding products. This product can be widely used in the production of high-resilience foam, semi-rigid foam and microporous elastomers, and is also widely used in the production of elastomers, adhesives, coatings and sealants.

Storage (Use) Precautions

Container: Fresh WANNATE ^® MDI-50 The product is a clear, transparent liquid at room temperature. It is prone to yellowing when exposed to light and air. Due to its active chemical properties, it is very easy to react with moisture to generate insoluble urea compounds and release carbon dioxide, causing drum bulging and increased viscosity. Therefore, during storage, it is necessary to ensure that the container is strictly dry and sealed and filled with dry nitrogen protection. Storage temperature: WANNATE ^® MDI-50 The product can generate dimeric insolubles as the storage time increases, please 25℃ ~ 35℃ range.

Melting conditions: If WANNATE ^® MDI-50 the storage temperature of the product is below 17℃ ，crystallization will occur. It must be heated and melted immediately in the shortest possible time. Local overheating is strictly prohibited, because this product will decompose and generate gas above 230℃ . It is recommended to use a hot air oven with a rolling drum device at 80-100℃ for drying, and the product temperature should not exceed 70℃ . After drying, the materials in the drum must be mixed evenly. During the rolling drum drying process, the support points of the material drum should be closely monitored to prevent wear and collision from causing leakage.
