WANNATE ^® CDMDI-100L Mainly used in the manufacture of high-performance microporous polyurethane elastomers and flexible polyurethane self-skinning foams, including shoe soles, solid tires, car bumpers, fenders, shock absorbers, baffles, steering wheels, seat headrests, armrests, interior parts, etc.; it is also widely used in the manufacture of adhesives, coatings, prepolymers and semi-prepolymers.

Storage (Use) Precautions

Due to WANNATE ^® CDMDI-100L its active chemical properties, it is very easy to react with water to form insoluble urea compounds and release carbon dioxide, causing drum swelling and increased viscosity. Therefore, during storage, it is necessary to ensure that the container is strictly dry and sealed and filled with dry nitrogen protection. WANNATE ^® CDMDI-100L It should be stored in a well-ventilated room at room temperature ( 20 ~ 30℃ ) under strict sealing; if the storage temperature is too low (below 18℃ ), crystallization may occur, and dimers are easily formed, so frost protection must be paid attention to. Once crystallization occurs, the crystals must be melted by heating in the shortest possible time; the material heating temperature must not exceed 70℃ ，and local overheating is strictly prohibited. It is recommended to use a 80 ~ 100℃ hot air oven for drying. After drying, the material in the drum must be mixed evenly. During the drum drying process, the support points of the material drum should be closely monitored to prevent wear and collision leading to leakage. It should be avoided at 50℃ or above for long-term storage to prevent the formation of insoluble solids and increase viscosity.
