Overview
T-5000 is a trifunctional primary amine. At room temperature, it is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with a molecular weight of approximately 5000. T-5000 is soluble in a variety of organic solvents.

Application
T-5000 is a polyurethane active chain extender with typical primary amine reaction properties. It is widely used in polyurethane RIM industry and is a main raw material for spray polyurethane elastomer; due to its unique chemical structure, T-5000 plays a toughening role in the epoxy industry; together with polyamide, it is used in epoxy adhesives characterized by high strength; it has a surface anti-corrosion effect in epoxy-polyurethane systems.
Safety Performance and Toxicity
T-5000 terminal amino polyether is slightly toxic by oral administration; non-toxic by skin absorption, but mildly irritating to the skin; strongly irritating to the eyes; when loading and unloading T-5000, use a face shield. If accidentally contacted with eyes, rinse immediately with water for at least 5 minutes and seek necessary medical attention. If spilled on skin, rinse immediately with soap and water.
Packaging, Storage and Transportation
T-5000 is usually packaged in 200Kg iron drums, stored away from light, heat and moisture, with a shelf life of one year.
