Overview
T-403 is a trifunctional primary amine product. The average molecular weight is approximately 440, and its amine group is attached to a secondary carbon atom at the end of the fatty polyether chain. T-403 has a density of 0.98 g/cm³ at 25℃, a flash point of 195℃, a melting point of -29℃, a pH of 11.6, and a boiling point of 250℃; T-403 has an active equivalent weight of 81, is characterized by its light color, low viscosity, low vapor pressure, and high primary amine content; it is soluble in many solvents and slightly soluble in water.

Application
T-403 is a new type of epoxy curing agent. It is mainly used in epoxy products and has certain advantages over similar products. For example, the coatings (paints) made from T-403 will have better chemical resistance to some extent than those made from D-230, and the final properties are closer to room temperature curing. T-403 has occupied a suitable position in the field of reinforced mixtures, with basic strength and elasticity; T-403 has been used in oil recovery, and also as a flat adhesive for jointing and sealing materials; it is also used as a crosslinking agent for mixtures in polyurea reaction injection molding.
Safety Performance and Toxicity
T-403 can potentially cause serious burns to the skin and eyes, and can cause poisoning through skin absorption and ingestion. When contacting this product, wear goggles with a face shield and impermeable gloves; when contacting a large amount of splashed product, it is necessary to wear impermeable clothing and rubber boots. In case of accidental contact, rinse eyes thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes and seek immediate medical attention. If skin contact occurs, immediately wash the exposed area with soap and plenty of water.
Packaging, Storage, and Transportation
T-403 is usually packaged in 200 kg iron drums filled with nitrogen, stored away from light, heat, and moisture, with a shelf life of one year.
